పంజరాన చెర కన్నా పర్ణశాల మేలన్నది
రాముడున్న వనమైనా రాణివాసమన్నది
అన్నా అనుకున్నా అడవి అంతఃపురమవునా
అయినా ఎవరైనా ఇది కొనగల వరమేనా
నిరూపించుకోనీ నీ ప్రేమే నా ప్రాణమనీ

ఏరికోరి ఇద్దరినీ ఎందుకల్లుకుందట

उस डाल पर बैठी चिड़िया ने क्या संदेश सुनाया?
यह चिड़िया गुड़िया-सी मग्न होकर सुनती रही।
उसने कहा—पिंजरे की कैद से वन की पर्णशाला बेहतर है,
और जहाँ राम हों, वह वन भी राजमहल समान है।
क्या केवल कह देने से वन अंतःपुर बन सकता है?
फिर भी, क्या ऐसा अनमोल वरदान कोई खरीद सकता है?
सिद्ध कर दूँ कि तुम्हारा प्रेम ही मेरा प्राण है,
अपने हृदय को तुम्हारे प्रेम में अर्पित कर दूँ।
तुम्हारा स्वागत करूँ एक दृढ़ आलिंगन बनकर,
तुम्हारे चारों ओर सुरक्षा की बाड़ बनकर।
तुम्हारा साथ मुझे
श्रीराम की रक्षा-कवच बनकर संभाले।
हर एक क्षण साक्षी है, हमारा यह सफर साक्षी है,
सच कह दूँ कि मैंने तुमसे प्रेम किया है,
सच कह दूँ कि मैंने तुम्हारी पूजा की है।
कहते हैं, प्रेम ही हमें
सप्तपदी के सात पवित्र कदमों पर साथ चलाता है।
आखिर क्यों उसने चुनकर
तुम्हें और मुझे एक-दूसरे से मिला दिया?
कहते हैं, एक ऐसा प्रेम है
जो तुम पर और मुझ पर विश्वास करता है।
तुम और मैं जब तक एक नहीं होते,
उसका अपना कोई अस्तित्व नहीं है।
अब से हमारा प्रेम
हमारे मिलन में जीवित रहना चाहिए।
वह सदैव खिलती हुई
मधुर प्रेम-लता बनकर बढ़ता रहे।
अपने हृदय को तुम्हारे प्रेम में अर्पित कर दूँ,
सिद्ध कर दूँ कि तुम्हारा प्रेम ही मेरा प्राण है।

मेरी नम आँखें साक्षी हैं,
