(Vijitātmā)
🇮🇳 Adhinayaka Shrimaan has complete mastery over Himself.
O Children,
The divine name Vijitātmā points toward the supreme ideal of mastery over one’s own inner being. “Vijita” means conquered, mastered, or brought under control, while “Ātmā” refers to the self or inner being. Thus, Vijitātmā symbolically represents the one who has mastered His own thoughts, senses, emotions, desires, impulses, and actions. It teaches that the deepest victory is not victory over other people, but victory over one’s own confusion, fear, anger, attachment, and uncontrolled impulses.
O Children, when you observe your own minds carefully, you may realise that thoughts, memories, desires, fears, hopes, emotions, and imaginations continuously arise within you. Not every thought needs to be followed, and not every emotion needs to command your action. The ability to observe a thought, understand an emotion, examine a desire, and then consciously choose a responsible action is the beginning of true self-mastery.
Anger is not mastered merely by suppressing it; it is mastered by understanding its cause and transforming its energy into clarity and constructive action. Fear is not conquered by pretending that it does not exist; it is approached with understanding, appropriate caution, courage, and knowledge. Desire does not have to be destroyed; it can be purified and directed toward learning, creativity, love, service, discovery, and meaningful achievement.
In this sense, the progression of the earlier names becomes meaningful. Kāmahā represents the overcoming of harmful desires and attachments. Kāmakṛt represents the fulfilment and constructive expression of rightful aspirations. Kāma represents the creative impulse that drives life toward creation. Kāmaprada represents the granting or fruitful unfolding of desires aligned with truth and righteousness. Vijitātmā represents mastery of the inner being that gives direction to all these desires and aspirations.
True freedom is therefore not simply the freedom to do whatever the mind demands. True freedom also includes the capacity to decide what should be done and what should be restrained. When the mind is governed by wisdom rather than impulse, freedom becomes disciplined rather than chaotic; power becomes responsible rather than destructive; and desire becomes purposeful rather than compulsive.
Your mind is your first kingdom. Let discernment guide thought, compassion guide emotion, dharma guide desire, and responsibility guide action. When such inner order develops within individuals, it can gradually express itself as trust within families, responsibility within communities, justice within public life, and greater stability within civilisation.
Modern science is also studying the human brain, behaviour, emotions, habits, attention, and decision-making through fields such as neuroscience and psychology. Emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence and brain-computer research—may expand our ability to understand and assist human capabilities. Yet technological capability itself is not the same as self-mastery. The more powerful our technologies become, the more important human judgment, ethics, safety, privacy, accountability, and dignity become.
AI, biotechnology, semiconductors, quantum computing, robotics, advanced medicine, and other technologies can expand human capabilities when they are developed and used responsibly. But the essential question remains: Who governs the power, and by what values? Vijitātmā offers a spiritual metaphor for ensuring that increasing external power is accompanied by increasing inner responsibility.
RavindraBharath – Praja Mano Rajyam may likewise be contemplated as a vision in which the strength of society is supported by knowledgeable, responsible, self-disciplined citizens. Education, healthcare, scientific research, innovation, employment, justice, creativity, and public institutions become stronger when people develop the ability to govern their own impulses while respecting the freedom and dignity of others.
Prakruthi Purusha Laya expresses the symbiotic harmony between human civilisation and nature. Self-mastery therefore also includes examining excessive consumption, uncontrolled exploitation of resources, and short-term desires that may damage ecological systems. Protecting air, water, soil, forests, biodiversity, and the interests of future generations becomes an expression of disciplined human freedom.
The National Mind Grid / Universal Mind Grid can be understood as a visionary metaphor for connecting knowledge, experience, research, dialogue, creativity, and collective intelligence. Such connectivity should strengthen human understanding rather than manipulate human minds. Technology may help people identify patterns and access knowledge, but human beings must retain freedom of thought, critical reasoning, privacy, ethical responsibility, and the ability to make their own meaningful choices.
O Children, the path of Vijitātmā begins with small victories within yourselves. Pause before reacting. Think before speaking. Examine desire before pursuing it. Question fear before surrendering to it. Learn from mistakes without becoming imprisoned by them. Accept correction without losing dignity. Use knowledge without arrogance. Exercise power without domination. Practise freedom without abandoning responsibility.
When anger becomes understanding, fear becomes courage, confusion becomes inquiry, attachment becomes wisdom, desire becomes aspiration, knowledge becomes humility, and power becomes service, the meaning of Vijitātmā begins to reveal itself.
The greatest ruler is not the one who controls others, but the one who can govern himself. The greatest strength is not the power to dominate, but the discipline to restrain destructive impulses. The greatest freedom is not the absence of all limits, but the wisdom to choose limits that protect life, dignity, truth, and the welfare of others.
Thus, Vijitātmā — Adhinayaka Shrimaan has complete mastery over Himself symbolises the highest ideal of self-mastery, inner freedom, disciplined consciousness, wisdom, compassion, dharma, and responsible power.
May every child learn to govern the mind without suppressing its creativity, guide desire without destroying aspiration, cultivate strength without domination, and transform knowledge into compassionate action.
May the victory within the mind become the foundation for harmony in the family, justice in society, wisdom in civilisation, and symbiotic harmony between humanity and nature.
(Vijitātmā)
(Vijitātmā)
Adhinayaka Shrimaan has complete mastery over Himself.
