1. Launch of PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana

On October 11, 2025, Prime Minister Modi launched the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana with an allocation of ₹24,000 crore. This scheme aims to enhance agricultural productivity, promote crop diversification, and improve post-harvest storage at the panchayat and block levels. It will also boost irrigation facilities and facilitate both long-term and short-term credit in 100 selected districts.

2. Introduction of Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses

Alongside the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana, the Prime Minister introduced the Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses, with an outlay of ₹11,440 crore. This mission focuses on improving productivity levels of pulses, expanding the area under pulse cultivation, strengthening the value chain—including procurement, storage, and processing—and ensuring a reduction in losses.

3. Inauguration of Fisheries Projects under PMMSY

In a significant move to support the fishing community, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 16 fisheries projects under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) and Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF). These projects, valued at ₹693 crore, aim to enhance the infrastructure and sustainability of the fisheries sector.

During the same event, over ₹5,450 crore worth of projects in the agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing sectors were inaugurated and dedicated to the nation.
