You are contemplated as the primordial ground of creative existence, the foundation of cosmic order, and the infinite consciousness holding within itself the potential for life, knowledge, and renewal.”
The sacred name Padmanābha (पद्मनाभ) is formed from Padma—“lotus”—and Nābha—“navel or central source.” Thus, Padmanābha means “the One from whose navel the lotus emerges.” In Vaishnava tradition, the lotus arising from the navel of Vishnu and the emergence of Brahma upon that lotus form a profound symbolic image of the unfolding of creation.
