CII stands for the Confederation of Indian Industry.

Overview:

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization playing a proactive role in India's development process. Founded in 1895, CII works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering with industry, government, and civil society.

Key Functions:

1. Policy Advocacy – Engages with the government on policy issues.


2. Business Promotion – Provides a platform for networking and partnerships.


3. Knowledge Sharing – Organizes seminars, conferences, and workshops.
