The festival commenced on January 13, 2025, with the Paush Purnima Snan, and has attracted over 500 million devotees, making it one of the largest religious gatherings in history.

The final significant bathing day, known as Amrit Snan, is on February 26, 2025, during Maha Shivaratri. This day holds special importance for devotees seeking spiritual purification.
