In her address to the gathering, the President lauded the efforts of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) in organizing the event and said that it was a significant platform for showcasing India's strength in the food processing sector. She also highlighted the importance of food security and nutrition and urged all stakeholders to work together to achieve the goal of a 'hunger-free India'.

The President also presented awards to the winners of the World Food India Awards 2023. The awards were given in various categories, including Best Innovation in Food Processing, Best Exhibitor, and Best Buyer.

The Valedictory Session also witnessed the signing of several MoUs between Indian and foreign companies. These MoUs are expected to boost investment and collaboration in the food processing sector.

The World Food India 2023 was a resounding success. The event attracted over 1,000 buyers and 950 exhibitors from 81 countries. It is estimated that the event generated business worth over US$ 10 billion.
