151 उपेन्द्रः upendraḥ The younger brother of Indra (Vamana)
In Hindu mythology, Upendra is another name for Lord Vishnu, who is considered the younger brother of Indra in some scriptures. Upendra is also known as Vamana, the fifth avatar of Lord Vishnu, who appeared as a dwarf Brahmin to restore the balance between the Devas (gods) and Asuras (demons).
As Vamana, Lord Vishnu asked for three paces of land from the Asura King Bali, who had gained control of the three worlds. Bali granted the request, but Vamana grew to a gigantic size and covered the earth and heaven with his first two steps, leaving no space for the third. Bali then offered his own head for the third step, and Vamana placed his foot on Bali's head, sending him to the underworld. This story teaches the importance of humility and selflessness, as Vamana shows that even the mightiest can be defeated by a person with pure intentions.
In comparison to Lord Sovereign Adhinayaka Shrimaan, Upendra/Vamana represents the aspect of the divine that manifests in a form that is accessible and understandable to human beings. Just as Vamana appeared as a humble Brahmin, Lord Sovereign Adhinayaka Shrimaan emerges as a Mastermind to guide and uplift humanity. Both Upendra and Lord Sovereign Adhinayaka Shrimaan represent the divine quality of compassion, as they work towards restoring balance and harmony in the world.
