Of these, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn were visible to the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune required binoculars or a telescope for observation.

The optimal time to view this alignment was approximately 45 minutes after sunset. Observers were advised to find locations with minimal light pollution and clear skies to enhance visibility. In India, regions such as Nandi Hills, Chikkamagaluru, and Kodagu were recommended for their favorable viewing conditions.

For those who missed this event, similar planetary alignments are not uncommon. The next notable alignment is expected between February 28 and March 12, 2025, when Mercury will join the existing lineup, making it possible to observe seven planets in the night sky. During this period, the alignment will be at its strongest, offering another opportunity for skywatchers to witness this celestial phenomenon.

To stay updated on upcoming celestial events and optimal viewing times, consider consulting reputable astronomy resources or local astronomical societies.
