🔟 Maheshwara as Supreme Cause

Sanskrit

महेश्वरः परो देवः सर्वकारणकारणम् ।
अनादिनिधनं शान्तं शिवमेकं नमाम्यहम् ॥

Phonetic

Maheśvaraḥ Paro Devaḥ Sarva-Kāraṇa-Kāraṇam
Anādi-Nidhanaṁ Śāntaṁ Śivam Ekaṁ Namāmy Aham

English Meaning

Maheshwara is the Supreme Deity, the cause of all causes; without beginning or end, peaceful — that one Shiva I bow to.

Those who worship Maheshwara attain the realm of Shiva; they do not return to the ocean of worldly existence.

With hands and feet everywhere, eyes, heads, and faces everywhere; hearing everywhere — He pervades all existence.
