Interpretation: In this abhang, Namdev speaks of the Ovali, a form of devotional music that was popular in his time. Namdev's friend, the saint Valanendu, sings of the Ovali and tells Namdev of his own meeting with the Lord Sovereign Adhinayaka, who is identified here with Lord Vishnu. Namdev is filled with thoughts of this divine place and hopes to remain steadfast in the Lord's eternal abode.
