ततो युद्धपरिश्रान्तं समरे चिन्तया स्थितम् |

दैवतैः सम्प्रपूज्य रावणं सुरगणाः तदा |
स्तुवन्ति च स्तुतयः प्रापुरेयुर्मुदा उदितम् || 2 ||

आदित्यस्य हृदयं पुण्यं सर्वशत्रुविनाशनम् |
जयावहं जवनं सर्वयुद्धेषु विजया भवेत् || 3 ||

रविर्हीन्द्रगजान्बीमानाश्विनौ मरुतस्तथा |
व्याघ्राद्यास्तेऽथ नागाश्च गन्धर्वाः सिद्धसङ्घशः || 8 ||

विश्वादेवास्तथा मरुतः सद्योयन्ति स्तुतिबिः |
प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं सर्वदेवमयं हरिम् || 9 ||

सर्वयुद्धेषु विजयः सर्वदुःखत्रयोद्धम् |
अस्मिन्सम्प्राप्ते सन्जयं युद्धे चास्मिन् प्रयास्यति || 10 ||

धर्मात्मजं रविं देवं सर्वलोकपितामहम् |
येन पूज्येन भक्त्या तत्ते देवाः प्रतिग्रहे || 11 ||

पूजयस्वैष वाग्देवं देवानामीश्वरं हरिम् |
ज्ञानिनामपि चेतंसि देवं देवेषु जीवितम् || 12 ||

रामाय रामभद्राय रामचंद्राय वेधसे |
रघुनाथाय नाथाय सीतायाः पतये नमः || 13 ||

**English Translation**:
1. Then, in the battle, with resolve and determination, standing still on his chariot, after observing Ravana in the battlefield,
2. The celestial deities worshiped Ravana, and the joyful celestials began to praise Ravana's prowess.
3. The holy Aditya Hrudayam, which destroys all enemies and grants victory and valor, was then given by Agastya to Lord Rama.
4. By the grace of Lord Surya, who is the soul of all gods and the leader of all celestial beings, one obtains radiant splendor.
5. The sacred Aditya Hrudayam, capable of destroying all enemies and granting victory and courage, was recited with devotion.
6. It is like a sacred bow, the destroyer of all enemies, and grants all desired boons when chanted with devotion, as well as being red like the morning sun.
7. It is meant for the sake of the beloved, the desiring, and the wise, and to remove all bonds and obstacles.
8. The sun, Indra, the elephants, the Ashvinis, the Maruts, and the fierce creatures like tigers and serpents, as well as the Gandharvas and Siddhas,
9. The universal gods and  the Maruts, after offering praises with devotion, bowed their heads to the Lord, who is the soul of all gods.
10. With this prayer, one attains victory in all battles and overcomes all three types of suffering, and in this way, even Lord Sanjaya narrated the battle.
