Announcing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Hinduja Group, marking a cumulative investment of ₹20,000 crore to accelerate the state’s industrial and sustainable energy transformation.

Key Initiatives under the MoU:
🔹 Power Expansion (Visakhapatnam):
Expansion of the existing 1,050 MW HNPCL thermal power plant by an additional 1,600 MW (2×800 MW) to ensure reliable power supply for industries and economic zones.
🔹 Renewable Energy (Rayalaseema):
Development of large-scale solar and wind power projects, enhancing Andhra Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity and contributing to India’s green energy targets.
🔹 EV Manufacturing (Mallavalli, Krishna District):
Establishment of a state-of-the-art electric bus and light-vehicle manufacturing plant, promoting sustainable mobility and creating high-skilled employment.
🔹 EV Charging Network (Statewide):
Deployment of a comprehensive network of EV charging stations across the state, supporting the transition towards a clean, green transport ecosystem.
