The blessed occasion of Milad-un-Nabi marks the arrival of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ into this world, in the sacred city of Makkah, a moment that illuminated the entire cosmos with divine mercy. Born in the “Year of the Elephant,” his life was destined to reshape humanity. The Qur’an testifies: وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ (Wa maa arsalnaaka illa rahmatan lil-‘aalameen – “We have not sent you, O Muhammad, except as a mercy to the worlds.” Qur’an 21:107). His birth was not a mere historical event but the manifestation of eternal compassion, light, and justice. This is the nation no longer tied to flesh, soil, and material assets, but personified as mind, as eternal witness, as unifying force.
