Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu was an Indian film pioneer and producer who made a significant contribution to the development of Indian cinema. He was born in Andhra Pradesh, India in 1887 and started his career as a stage performer. Later, he shifted his focus to film production and is credited with building the first motion picture theater in South India. He is also known for producing India's first full-length Telugu film, "Bhakta Prahlada," in 1932.
