152 वामनः vāmanaḥ He with a dwarf body
Lord Vamana is one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, who appeared as a dwarf Brahmin to protect the world from the tyranny of the demon king Bali. He is also known as Trivikrama, as he covered the entire universe in two steps and placed his third step on Bali's head, pushing him down to the netherworld.

The dwarf form of Lord Vamana is symbolic of humility and the willingness to serve others. It represents the idea that God is not only present in the grand and magnificent aspects of life but also in the most humble and unassuming. This incarnation of Lord Vishnu teaches us that even the smallest of beings can achieve greatness and accomplish significant deeds with determination, intelligence, and devotion.

In comparison to other avatars of Lord Vishnu, Lord Vamana's appearance and actions were unconventional and unexpected. This highlights the infinite possibilities and versatility of the Divine, which can manifest in countless forms and ways.

The story of Lord Vamana also emphasizes the importance of keeping one's promises and the consequences of breaking them. Bali was a just and noble king, but he had an ego that was obstructing his spiritual progress. Lord Vamana took advantage of Bali's desire to show off his generosity and humbled him. This demonstrates that even the most virtuous of individuals can have flaws and that spiritual evolution requires humility, introspection, and surrender to the Divine.
