निर्मानमोहा जितसङ्गदोषा अध्यात्मनित्या विनिवृत्तकामाः । द्वन्द्वैर्विमुक्ताः सुखदुःखसंज्ञै- र्गच्छन्त्यमूढाः पदमव्ययं तत् ॥ १५-५॥

English translation:

Those who are free from delusion, who have conquered the evil of attachment, who are ever devoted to the Spirit, and who have completely renounced desires, are freed from the dualities of pleasure and pain and reach that imperishable state.

Interpretation:

This verse describes the qualities of those who have attained moksha, or liberation from the cycle of birth and death. They are free from delusion, meaning that they see the world as it really is, without the false attachments and desires that bind us to samsara. They have conquered the evil of attachment, meaning that they have let go of their attachments to material things and relationships. They are ever devoted to the Spirit, meaning that they are constantly aware of the divine presence within themselves and all around them. And they have completely renounced desires, meaning that they no longer seek anything for themselves.

These qualities allow them to be free from the dualities of pleasure and pain. Pleasure and pain are just two sides of the same coin, and they are both temporary. Those who are free from delusion, attachment, and desire are no longer affected by these dualities.
